im not gonna lie, im pretty proud of MY BLINGED OUT N SCALE engine. i did her up specifically, just to see IF shed draw any kind of attention...at all. or, if people would make rude dispareging comments about her, period.
and true to the human nature of humanity itself, she drew more attention and OOOOS and AHHHHHS, from BOTH sexes, i knew i had something!
ya see, she appeals to females, and girls, and anyone who likes...sparkly stuff. cause shes COVERED in flat backed plastic metalic backed gems.
multi colored.
for a reason, because it would cost me a near fortune to try to do an engine up in every color there is out there...
i just decided to cover her, the best way i could with every size and color i had on hand for this idea.
the mall wasnt her 1st run....this was actually her second. her 1st was at a Christmas Show we did here in Edmond, Oklahoma. and let me just say...she stopped traffic IN the building we were in while she commanded the rail...lol
so, i finally have an N Scale engine to go along with my specialty and yellow cars, and craig was so kind to pull out allot of the yellow cars to ride behind her, so not only was she sparkly..she was bright too! lol
these images arnt the best...i found i CANT use macro AND STOP MOTION at the same time on my camera...so, some (if not all) are blurry. but you get an idea, anyway.
im not sure sure id want to try to bling my other scales (Z and T) as they get so much smaller and the gems become harder to handle the tinier thay are....bigger, like HO would be better...but i havnt decided if i want to go larger yet. i do believe the canvase for specific art in relation to gem placemnt would be easier and more pronounced if i didthem in larger scale...but for now, N is as good as its gonna get.
i need dummy engines to work engines in single colors, for holiday sets...
anyway, heres the pics, ENJOY!
MICHELLE
