i opened this can of worms up, and im just watching the debate right now.
waiting to see how it all plays out, if it ever does, it might just fizzle away into nothingness and become obsolete within a week, who knows? but this is the latest on the dbate of the use of the name T-TRAK.
I've been biting my tongue over this for quite a while.
The politics of the T-TRAK name has been blown out of proportion. I agree with you on the copyright and trademark comments.
What's in a name? You are right about the name - it is currently trademarked by a lighting company in the USA. It's also the name of a tracking company for vehicles here in Australia.

i find it rather interesting that a company IN Australia already owns the "T-TRAK" name. well, they own the website associated to the name, anyway.
We are also doing this in HO, so I can't see a problem with using other scales with the same idea in mind.

Western Australia.
so, the question then begs to be answered, if anyone already owns the "T-TRAK" name, and subsequent web page, then why is there even a debate? i can call my T-Trak: T-Gauge-T, or T-Gauge T-Track, and it would be completely legal. right? well, within reason, of course, lol
my question about a system, has turned completely into a monster! lol
but its all good. i enjoy hearing the opinions, and wisdom of those who know more than me. helps me learn, and grow.
